Picky Translator on the Loose 🍽️

Hi everyone! Ughhh, I’m so sorry for disappearing for almost five weeks! 😭 I swear, it’s not that I’m lazy — it’s just that there’s literally no good novel to translate! Like, the world has millions of novels but not even one decent one for me?! Tragic. 💀

So, my tiny brain suddenly went, “Hmm… maybe one brain isn’t enough. Time to borrow everyone else’s!” 🤣 If you’ve got a novel you love and want me to translate, drop the title in the comments! I’ll read it first, and if it passes my drama queen standards, I’ll pick it up.

Fair warning — I’m a super picky reader. Like, Michelin-star picky. 🍽️ I can read random stuff for fun, sure, but translating something I hate? Nope, that’s a straight ticket to mental breakdown land. When I’m reading, I might rage-quit halfway. But when translating, it’s basically signing a long-term relationship with the story. If I don’t love it, I’ll start crying halfway through. 😭

Anyway, I hope you guys understand! 💕 Oh, and quick heads-up: there are three things I absolutely cannot stand — harem/reverse harem, Mary/Gary Sues, and overpowered protagonists. My soul leaves my body every time I see those. 💀

Also… I was casually browsing and saw that someone actually remade the short story I translated (Heavenly Eye)? I mean, yeah, I make mistakes here and there, but come on—my translation wasn’t that bad that it needed a full-on remake. That’s just rude. 😑

Just because I’m “nobody” and they’re from some group with a thousand releases, they think they can do this to me? I always check NU to see if a novel I like has already been translated. If someone’s done it, I move on. But this… this feels like a personal slap. Honestly, I’m just annoyed. 😑
